Tapestry Flow
Breathtaking vistas are all around when travelling New Zealand’s South Island… And the heart of it all is arguably the Otago region. Home to the Alpine, and gateway to the Fjordlands and glaciers, I’m drawn to the incredible feature rich carving of the glacial outflow in the mica rich streambeds. Intricate patterns emerge, many visible from the elevated roadways and mountain tops but can’t be truly appreciated unless from the air.
Tapestry Flow is the name given to this piece coming from what appears to be different earth colours and water colours mixing to create a rich combination of shapes as though sewn together.
