Going Online, Not Going Away

Vernissage Art Gallery will close its doors this Saturday… so what’s next?

As The Enchanted Garden comes to a close, we are also announcing the close of our gallery space at 509 High St, Prahran. We would like to thank everyone who came to our gallery, expressed their enjoyment of the space and took interest in the artworks we had on display, and to those who helped us shape the curation of artworks through feedback and purchases. We will of course be sad to no longer have our beautiful gallery as our permanent workspace, however there is so much in the future for us personally and for Vernissage Art too.

As a family-run business we have been very excited to see Vernissage Art grow and change, and as our family grows too, this is the right time for us to explore the online world of art sales and consultancy whilst continuing to provide our same friendly service and bringing artworks to your home. It has been such a pleasure to visit people’s homes and see how different artworks can change a space, and how the right piece in the right space just feels… right! We look forward to having an even more flexible schedule to bring artworks to homes, whether it is for an obligation-free viewing, a seven-day trial or delivering a purchase. We also have great connections with framers, to we can also arrange all aspects of this with no hassle and at a lower price. So, really the only thing to change is the gallery space. The friendly, professional Vernissage Art team and artists will continue to offer quality original and collectable artworks that can be afforded today with the view that they will be valued forever.

Like last year, we will be at the Affordable Art Fair in September with our stable of fabulous artists, plus some new up and coming talent. We will then be bringing you our art gallery in pop-up locations across Melbourne AND Sydney - yes, Sydney-siders rejoice! We are teaming up with other galleries in Sydney and will be looking at pop-up locations in hot and happening spots. So watch this space, there’s a lot happening!

And right now we are excited about our last exhibition at 509 High St, Prahran, with Zoe Ellenberg’s The Enchanted Garden, a truly stunning show of large scale, rainforest inspired, mixed-media paintings and gorgeous bronze sculptures on marble. As this show ends, so too will the gallery space at 509 High St, Prahran come to an end, so we’re making a party of it, breaking out the bubbles and celebrating two great things coming to an end - we’re even offering 10% OFF when you RSVP! And the best part is that as the show closes we can deliver straight away, so no waiting to see your beautiful new piece sitting proudly in your space!

Still deciding? Vernissage is pleased to offer Art Money on all artworks, including discounted closing party artworks. That means you can enjoy the art pieces you love straight away and spread the payments over 10 months, no interest!

We hope to see you there, but of course understand if you just can’t make it. If you would still like to take advantage of our 10% off offer, hit the RSVP button and let us know - we’ll be happy to assist you with your purchase over email or phone. We have excellent contacts with couriers and can get prices right down, so you needn’t worry about interstate shipping costs. But all good things must end, and so our sale will end 6pm on Saturday. So hit the RSVP button and let’s have a party!
